1. Attendance and grooming checklist.

  4. Service trolley check with checklist.
  5. Physically check the machinery with the checklist. ( Report by mail if  any issues or updates)
  6. COSHH Cabinet (chemical) check with the checklist.
  7. Order supplies, equipment & chemicals as per daily workload.
  8. Soiled utility/waste room check with the checklist. (Make sure PPE is available)
  9. Check Entrance, floor, ceiling, wall, electric device and air freshener ( report by email if  any maintenance issues or updates)
  10. Meet with the floor incharge/supervisor ask for any requirements and implementation.
  11. Carefully read the shifting logbook and prefer the PPM as per workload. 
  12. Check for customer satisfaction, feedback or any requirements.
  13. Before starting PPM, conduct a short TBT (10-15 minutes), explain the task from start to finish
  14. Evaluate and ask staff for feedback.
  15. Create an engaging environmental experience (Events, campaigns, meetings, or social engagements).
  16. Motivate the staff daily and ask for feedback on how we can improve and achieve our goals
  17. Frequently check all rooms on the floor, including EMPTY rooms
  18. Monitor the patient rooms’ cleaning checklist (VIP Rooms)
  19. Daily discharge room cleaning check with the checklist (Guest Room)
  20. Staff well-being, health and safety involvement.
  21. Breakfast and lunch timing arrangements: make sure all staff have food.
  22. Daily, frequently meet with the Unit incharge/supervisor ongoing process and deadlines.
  23. Frequently communicate around the floor 
  24. Every visit, ask them (staff) short questions, for example, (5W)
  25. Ensures that all tasks are delivered on time and to a high standard.
  26. Prepare daily report/CAFM system

Daily Duties of an Effective Housekeeping Supervisor

A focused housekeeping supervisor plays a key role in maintaining high standards, smooth daily operations, staff motivation, safety, and customer satisfaction. The supervisor must be present on the floor, communicate clearly, check work physically, support the team, and make sure every task is completed on time with quality and care.
